I chose to try Sweet Illusions...

I chose to try Sweet Illusions based on some of the reviews stating that it is the best place in Eugene/Springfield. If this is the best place in Eugene/Springfield, don’t waste your time here at all. Take the drive to Portland for any number of choices for a much better experience.

As others have described, the club is small, with one small stage with a pole, a small lap dance room separated from the main room with a see-through curtain, and two small, somewhat more private dance areas. I went on a Saturday early evening. There were 6 or 7 dancers milling around, ranging from 5-6, and all but one of them was covered in tattoos. I’m not a fan of ink – I’d rather see some pretty women rather than the messy, ink-covered, biker babe types working here. Most of them were either with what appeared to be a regular, or just sitting at the small bar talking to each other and ignoring the other customers. The stage dances lacked any energy and were boring. Most of the dancers didn’t even get topless unless someone walked up and tipped them. But they didn’t give you any reason to want to tip.

Since I was stuck in Eugene, I tried a lap dance with the only girl not covered in tattoos. It was mediocre at best, with light one-way contact from her and only minor touching allowed by me. I didn’t waste my time with a second dance. I definitely will not be returning to this place. I recommend that you look elsewhere.
