This was the first club I...
This was the first club I ever went to. Even then I had a sense that it was low end. Reading more recent reviews confirms this. It is pretty small. I think the lighting was pretty dim. It seems to be a bit of a tourist trap. Like others have pointed out, it is likely that the place is intentionally seedy. It feeds off a slight Old West saloon vibe. I went with my dad, and it was $35 to sit down as I recall. However, he bought two drinks that were more on the expensive side. I don't think we stayed more than a few hours. There weren't that many customers in there. I don't remember the DJ or music.
There was only one dancer in there that night that was attractive. She was a So Cal chick who said she was from Thousand Oaks. The only other one I remember was a homely Mexican girl who chased a dude out of the club when he walked out on her. I also vaguely remember some big tits on the stage. There was another dancer of this type that my dad was into, but I don't think it was the same one. I believe I bought one dance for $20 from the blonde girl. This was a discount even at that time. The dance wasn't that great. I don't really buy dances. To me it is like stepping on the brakes and the gas at the same time, and I also don't look for extras at the club. That being said, even on my first visit I knew that the dance was garbage. This club almost reaches the rite of passage, stuff of legend, so bad its good level. However, it definitely falls short in the end. You might be better off skipping it.
