I haven't been to a club...

I haven't been to a club in quite a few years but decided to go to Solid Gold with the girlfriend after dinner and cocktails in the area. Walking into the club, I couldn't get over how much of a northwoods vibe the interior of the place had. Lots of tacky wood panelling. I used to go here over a decade ago when it was called something else and they sure did remodel the place for the worse.

We sat down at a table and was approached by a waitress. GF ordered a vodka tonic and I tried ordering a jack and ginger but they don't have ginger ale (??). So it was jack and coke for me. The dancers were incredibly out of shape. A couple of them were wearing lingerie to cover their midsections. It was incredible that this was the Saturday night lineup. Your average girl working at a restaurant or bar are less flabby than the dancers here. We drank our drinks and left in 15 minutes.
