This appears typical of several London clubs I read about before visiting. Essentially it is very different to US clubs albeit with a similar physical set-up inside. The Windmill, and other places like it-Stringfellows-are all about selling VIP rooms and the very very very expensive drinks and girls that come with them. There is little or no floor action (no shows at The Windmill apart from on weekends apparently) and the girls are simply trying to get everyone to go upstairs for VIP sessions. Almost every single girl was a Russian or Ukrainian, thick accents, gaudy outfits and not that young. There was a constant and annoying pressure from each of them to go VIP. As soon as you declined they left instantly only to be replaced by another asking the very same thing. I found the club really annoying, expensive, and stayed literaly ten minutes. I do not recommend at all.
