As alot of people previously said, the Penthouse is very expensive. Just to get in the door, you spend about $20-30. I went during the late evening just before mid-night and the cover was about $15 and then I had to pay the coat check fee with was another about $7. They also have valet parking which was nice but that was about another $5 plus tip. Despite the cost the club was very outstanding. There were about 5 individual stages including the "big stage". A girl would dance on the big stage first and then make her way around to the other stages. The bar was an actual stage as well so if your the "hang out at the bar" type of guy, you can enjoy the same girl close to you that was on the big stage. I was very impressed as I was sitting at bar and the dancers were right there. As soon as I ordered my first beer, I had a dancer ask me for a LD or even a VIP if I wanted. Also before I finished that beer, I probably had 6-10 dancers ask me the same thing. This seemed a bit pushy for me at first as I like to sit and enjoy the scenery of the club before I engage in a LD or VIP. I also tend to want a beer or two before I open my wallet wide for $20+. However, if your the kind of guy that goes in looking for an LD at first minute, it would be great. Eventually I asked for a private VIP and was not disappointed. I don't remember the girl's name but she was definitely my type of physically attractive.

Bottom line: the Penthouse is over the top on some of it's prices for just about anything, but if your looking for a great worry-free time in Detroit, I would recommend here.
