Center Stage is located about one...
Center Stage is located about one block from Mardi Gras. I actually stumbled upon it by accident while heading to Mardi Gras. I gave it a try and figured worst case scenario, if it was bad, I could walk one block to Mardi Gras. Well, let's just say I never made it to Mardi Gras! After reading some of the other reviews, and having been to Center Stage and Mardi Gras, there is a definite difference between the clubs. And CS seems to be hit or miss with many folks. Center Stage has only a few dancers, mostly hispanic or black - that works for me but not everyone. MG has more variety. CS is called such because there is a huge stage in the center of room where girls dance, large bar stool seating along entire stage. Of the few girls dancing, most were just sitting next to customers talking. Only one was dancing. MG has many many more girls and variety. Here was the difference maker for me this night... MG VIP is one big open room, no privacy. CS VIP is small intimate area, I was told that no one comes back to check. Take care of the girl, she takes care of you, enough said. Same owner for both clubs and was told that his group also owns the steak house attached to MG, and several other clubs. The girl who danced for me was a visitor from NY. I think I might have hit it lucky. Mine was a 7 or 8. Others in the club were 5 or 6 material. I would definitely go again, but look to see quality of dancers, then decide if I stay or head over to MG.
