I decided to check out the new place. I am a regular at the Hugger, but wanted to see if the new club had anything better. The bouncer at the door required two picture IDs to get in. Not real thrilled with that. If it is designed to keep riff-raff out, it failed miserably. I stayed for about two hours and tipped all of the girls on the shift at least $1 for their stage dance. I only tipped as they came and asked, I would not have stood up to tip any of them. I got a tour of the facilities and the chairs were nice in the VIP rooms, and average in the regular dance area. The entire time I was there I only saw one dancer take a customer to the regular dance area. I did not get a dance as there was no connection with any of the dancers. The Heineken's were $6 and mixed drinks $10, but unlike the Hugger you can at least get a decent beer. There were more black dancers at Tease than there is at the Hugger (usually none) so the variety is much better, but the overall dancer quality is lower. The biggest issue I had with my visit was that a number of the other patrons came to talk to me very loudly and would not leave me alone. Perhaps it was a bad night, but I do not go to a club to have some drunk guy come up and tell me what he wants to do with a dancer. I doubt that I will return, but if you like dancers with some junk in their trunk, then you should definitely check out Tease.
