I briefly re-visited The Hawthorne Strip after about 2.5 years. Nothing much seems to have changed physically-- it's still very much the typical Portland neighborhood-dive-turned-titty-bar sort of place. What I said from my review back then still applied-- the place doesn't look like much-- but the dancers make up for it.
I stopped in on a Saturday, mid-afternoon, while in-between errands and a trip to the Lucky Lab to meet some buddies.. There appeared to be three gals there, although I only saw two dance (the third was just hanging out at the bar. The first gal I saw dance was fit late-20-something (maybe early 30s, but I'm notsure) with auburn hair with the unlikely name of "Feather". She had great moves on stage (especially on the pole), a perky body, a cute outfit (nice stockings), and a pretty face. She didn't seem to make much eye contact though-- even when she got tips from me and the other customers at the In sort, she gave a very 'professoinal' show. She did three songs-- one fully clothes, the second topless, and the third mostly nude (she left her stockings on).
Next up was a pretty blonde gal with nice natural curves. She showed a bit more personality on the stage and made a little more eye contact with me and the other PLs at the rack I wasn't as impressed with her pole technique, but she still gave a good show, following the same 3-song format.
