Decided to try a club in...
Decided to try a club in Toronto to see how they compare to ones I've been to in the states. Easy to get to for visitors, since it is near a subway stop. Doorman greeted me, no cover. (That's a rarity for me.) Then came in, and sat by the bar. This must have been mistake #1, since it required me to buy a drink. I was not sure whether all seating required a drink purchase, but no cover so I wasn't too upset. $6 for a Coke is a bit ridiculous though, but I digress. Place was maybe 1/3 full of patrons, decent mix of couples and single men.
Non stop shows on the stage. Ladies were all beautiful. Tried 2 sets of lap dances ($20 a dance), and here's where the experience was not like other places, good and bad:
Bad: little privacy. The dances were in cubicles facing each other. However, this night I seemed to be the only one getting dances, so it wasn't relevant. Also, no warning of when dances ended. This means I had to keep track how many I have had and asked her to stop (which is hard to do sober, no idea how you could do it drunk!) Also, the first dance was mostly in bikini, so you had to do 2-3 dances before she was completely nude.
