It's been a few years since...

It's been a few years since I had visited HB's and an opportunity to be in the area for a Saturday afternoon visit, propved to be quite interesting. They still have a grubby exterior and have made some improvements to the interior with the addition of at least a dozen flat screen TV's. If a club bills itself as a Sports Bar with Bikini-Clad dancers; there should be some screens to see the on-going events. I was told that since it was before 3:00 p.m. I could get in for $5 and get FREE LUNCH. Mandatory Coat Check and I was I.D.-checked and on my way to find a "high-top" table to drink beer, watch the game and the girls who were only dancing on one stage. I would venture a guess there were about 9 or 10 dancers on shift, which was ample for the 12-15 guys present.

Ranging from the 19 to 20 year old college students working the weekend to the 40 Year+ seasoned dancers; you were able to see Asian, Latina, and Caucasian dancers who presented anything from a lackluster "by-the-numbers" routine to dancers with good pole skills. My imported beer was $3 and my lunch was Free; so I tipped dancers willingly. Most customers never ventured from their seats. As stated in previous posts, the "not-so-private" dances are conducted i a large room. I opted for the 5 for $50 in room shielded by what looked like a shower curtain. The rooms are monitored and you are not allowed to let your hands roam freely. Even with that; I had picked 2 dancers who were skillful and expressive and I enjoyed them both.

If you want to grab Tits & Ass; this is not for you. There are other places for that and massage parlors are less than 20 minutes away. However, if you want to grab some decent bar food, reasonably priced brews and drinks, watch a game and see some dancers; by all means stop by. You should be able to enjoy yourself for about $140-$150 for a few hours of fun and conversation. The "shot girls" were "hotties" but I don't see the value in a $5 boobie shot; when they have "A-sized" cups.
