I have been going to Tobies for over 20 years, but hadn't been for more than a year. The new remodel and the new no touch attitude are a decided change from the 'old days' when you could be certain to make some contact. In fact I had my first club bbbj here (followed by several weeks of worrying...) and a covered FS, and she brought the cover in her 'kit'. Admittedly the quality of the girls was highly variable, and mostly pretty low in the older days. Occasionally there would be a 8 or 9. Some of them would play the usual games, but one memorable 9-10 wouldn't allow any touching at all.

The remodel and clean up have made the place much more appealing from that point of view. There were 3 girls working when I was there, maybe a couple 6s and one 7. They were friendly enough, but since I just stopped in for a beer and to check out the new place, I only tipped at the rail and didn't do any LD. The reviews are pretty discouraging in that respect. Next time I'm there and have more time, I'll probably take a test run with a LD, but I don't have high hopes. The past is clearly in the past...
