The Boom Boom Room has two things going for it- the bouncers are still great and the people behind the bar mix a well poured drink.

I wish I could say the same about the dancers in the club. During my last two brief visits, there have been zero, nada, none of them working here. It was just me, a bouncer moving stock in the back room, a sound system screeching speed metal, and a completely disgusted bartender. Some other "custys" came while I was finishing my drink at the bar, but left as soon as they discovered there wasn't any entertainment being offered aside from free pool. The recent armed robbery during the day shift probably hasn't helped them recruit onstage contractors, either.

The club itself is in even worse shape than ever. The ever-plugged toilets, no towels or working hand dryers in the johns, seats without legs and wheels, totally blown out speakers, ripped booths, filthy carpeting, and the garbage and rats in the parking lot make me wonder if the owner(s) have given up on making it a going concern as a strip club and are just trying to make it work as a poker house until the lease runs out.
