I've submitted some club updates, notably that Danny's now closes at 3am rather than 2am and that dance prices are now $25 per song (it was previously $20 per song until last summer). It had been awhile since I had been to Danny's, so I stopped in a little after 9pm on a Saturday night. It was early and things had not really picked up yet. Saturday night is a $20 cover at Danny's but it comes with free all-you-can-drink beer, so it attracts a little different crowd than on other nights of the week.

The Saturday crowd has more people who come in and sit and drink, with minimal dances and tipping. The cover is $20 and they can drink all the beer they want free for that price and see naked girls, so I guess some of them come to Danny's rather than going to their usual bar (I imagine they would spend more than 20 bucks at their local bar). Some of the girls don't like working on Saturday because some of the guys are only their to drink, not to tip and get dances.

Anyway, it was early (9pm) and things were still pretty slow. There were 6 or so dancers circulating but others were getting ready in the back or just arriving. Things don't get busy here until probably 11pm or so. If you wait too late, though, parking can be a little problematic, as the parking lot isn't very big and has limited spaces. It can be a challenge sometimes.
