Stopped in on Tuesday morning the day before Christmas for the final day of Mario's annual holiday party. I came early as I had arranged to meet my fave for breakfast. The buffet was out and ready at 9am and was kept very well stocked all day with a variety of hot and cold items. While not exactly packed at 9 or so in the morning there was a steady flow of customers coming in early to enjoy the buffet and the ladies. Clearly a lot of men had convinced their wives that they were out Christmas shopping. I make it to this club three or four times a year and see quite a few of the same ladies on my visits. The ladies are always friendly and, for the most part, very attractive.

My fave has been at Mario's for about five years now and I make it a point to stop in for regular visits in spite of the annoying fluctuating dance prices. The club currently runs a 2 for $45 dance special on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I took full advantage of this during my visit. I'm told that the Champagne room has undergone some renovation but, at $180 for fifteen minutes, I won't be checking out the VIP room any time soon. The prices are much better for that in Providence and with much more privacy.

Dance prices aside I enjoy my visits to Mario's but, to be honest, if I didn't have a fave or two working there I probably wouldn't be driving all the way to Webster to spend my cash. There is much better value in Providence. No cover charge during the day.
