I visited a few times my last trip in town and wasn't too impressed with the quality of girls who were working, at least compared to visits in past years. I generally came in the afternoon or early evening, so that could be part of the problem. The place seems to be hiring more typical strippers you would see in average clubs from anywhere else in the country. I came across several girls who have worked in the company's (Rick's Cabaret) other clubs. I'm not saying the quality of girls is bad, it's just not up to prior years' standards of smoking hot beauties from outside the U.S. especially stunning Latinas from the Caribbean, South and Central America, blondes from Eastern Europe, and exotic Asians actually from Asia. That's what I loved best about the old Tootsies. One girl told me it was because the club enforces hiring rules requiring a valid work visa for foreigners. Sure, there are a number of Latinas around, but most seemed to be young thin average looking girls, who tend to hang out by themselves versus circulate among customers, giving the club an impersonal feel. I guess I prefer the more experienced, friendly, curvy types. I ended up spending the least amount of money here ever for a trip. Hopefully, as the tourist season picks up, better quality dancers will start showing up.
