I was back in Houston about a week ago and stopped in to the St. James on a Thursday evening. The traffic was heavy but not overcrowded. I made it in before the cover started so I got in for free and got some free buffet to boot. I sat through the shift change. and didn't see anyone really spectacular. The girls range from young to experienced. I find most of the younger girls at the St. James give only average dances and don't seem interested in the customers. The girls dance on the main stage and then rotate around to the smaller stages, but the stage dancing seems to be less of an attraction here than at other clubs. I saw very little tipping the times I have been there. At Treasures on the other hand the girls are much friendlier and the young attractive girls give plenty of attention. That's not to say you can't get plenty of mileage at the St. James. I caught the eye of Susana after a while and she gave an EXCELLENT dance, with a little lagniapp. There are many private rooms spread aroung the two story club in addition to a VIP room. Unless you want to unload a lot of cash there's really no reason to get a VIP room. The St. James is close to bush airport and much easier to get to than the downtown clubs if you are staying near the airport. Highly recommended.
