I was marooned in LA for 1 night because of a late connecting flight so I took the opportunity to check this club out. Most of the clubs in LA are full nude but this means there is no alcohol service. 4 Play has a reputation of having the best looking dancers in town.

First the club itself is located in a rundown industrial area and looks pretty unappealing. There is no parking lot but some street parking can be found in adjacent blocks. There is also an option to valet for $5.50. I arrived about 7:30 which apparently is way too early. The club was open but there was nobody in it and. dancers were just getting ready. The entry fee is $10 with a 1 drink minimum. Drinks available are water, juice, coffee, Red Bull, and non-alcoholic beer and wine. All drinks are $7.50. Because it was so slow the manager comped me my drink. Things really didn't get underway until 9, but action really picked up after midnight.

The cub itself is fairly small. There is one stage with a pole with about 15 chairs around 3 sides. Then there is a bar and about 15 small tables. There is a lap dance area in the back, and an upstairs VIP balcony. There were also 4 booths on one wall where most of the idle dancers gathered between sets. From about 9 to 12, there were less than 20 customers, but after midnight about 100 customers which was very crowded.
