Tattletales used to be a regular stopping place for me, but over the past couple years my visits here have decreased dramatically. But on this particular Friday night I found myself with no real plans so I thought I'd make a visit. The physical layout of the club has been tweaked a bit. The main stage has been altered and made much smaller in order to increase seating capacity. They've put new carpet in too. This place will never be confused with Cheetah or the old Pink Pony South, but the renovations did improve the place. However, the reasons why I stopped coming here were still prevalent: too much of a ROB atmosphere, from dancers and management. The VIP room prices are now $100 per half hour, and the girls are asking for an additional $200-300 per half hour. That's a little pricey for Atlanta, especially for those of us who have become spoiled by Follies' pricing. But on this particular evening I did take the plunge with a very petite, pretty brunette who is the very definition of a spinner. She gave me a couple solid floor dances and we then moved on to VIP. It was pricey but she lived up to her promises. All in all it was a good visit, but the increased costs here will keep me from returning on a regular basis.
