I haven't been to Dayton in...
I haven't been to Dayton in a while, so this was my first trip back to the LR in several years. Interestingly, not much has changed. The girls now wear pasties (ridiculous!) but I guess it is a local law being enforced now. I was also glad to see that the club is now non-smoking. On this trip I visited the LR twice.
My first visit was on a Tuesday around 5p and it was a giant waste of time. About 6-8 girls working (generally 6s-7s) and probably a dozen regulars and no one, not even the bartender, had an interest in me. It was hard to get a drink and even harder to get a dance. I am all for an evening with the regulars, but I just think it is also important to recognize potential new customers in the place (I had $$ and wanted to spend it) and it did not happen on this visit. I don't usually complain, but the girls working that night were borderline rude. So I paid for one beer, tipped a few dancers on stage, got no attention and left after about 30 minutes.
Now, in fairness, trip number 2 was better. I stopped back in the LR the next night later in the evening, around 9 because it was on the way back to my hotel and I was interested in seeing if I just picked the wrong day/time. So this time there were only a few regulars and several cute dancers and a much nicer bartender. I tipped the girls on stage and struck up a conversation with a sweet dancer (forgot name), sat and talked for a while, we went back for a LD and it was great. She was in her 30s, very experienced, and she gave me plenty of GFE attention, good grind, clearly knew what she was doing, and I would visit her again if I am back in the area. I think my dances were $20 each and well worth it.
