Having been away from Austin for...

Having been away from Austin for a while I was finally able to return during F1 formla week. I visited Down in Texas a Saturday or Sunday night (sorry, that whole weekend was kind of a blur). I had expected the club to be similar to "Baby Dolls" in Dallas. And while I can say that it did not meet the quality of "Baby Dolls' it has the potential to not only meet it, but to surpass it as well.

In Dallas "Baby Dolls" and "The Lodge" both attempt to offer a strip club experience outside the typical rap/hip-hop booty-shaking urban style so prevalent in today's strip clubs. Austin really has not had that kind of non urban strip club for the last few years (at least not while I was there). The owner already owns one of the urban clubs in Austin and now is attempting to proposition a different kind of club. Only time can tell if he can pull it off.

The first thing this club did right was to hire a number of hot waitress. And I mean really hot! It's a mostly fit crew. No guts trying to fit into a corset.
