I rarely have encountered this ROB thing and I rarely talk negatively about a dancer but this bitch has no business savy. Many dancers today understand the value of repeat business and they treat the business like a business to maximize the profit margin. But there are still a few who lack awareness in this area. I went to Ron's Barbary Coast tonight and I've been going there regularly for about a year. This was the first and last time I will dance with Lil'Mama. She dark skin, kind of curvy, wears pigtails, and looks okay. Not horrible nor the best looker in the joint. I had just gotten dances with Renee earlier and they were off the charts. Lots of mutual touching and really edgy extras. I've known this chick awhile. Decided to try something new with Lil'Mama. We go into the lap room and a song is in progress. Normally, the dancer will move in front of you with light teasing before the next song begins and they go to work. I usually give them a small tip for this even though they don't ask. Lil' Mama gave me a decent grind, grabbed and prodded here and there but nothing really wild. I've had serious extras and this wasn't even close. We did 3 dances. I get ready to pay her and she says we've done six dances. Even counting the partial air dance-warm-up, it would have been four. (dances are $10 a pop here) I could have argued the point but I was more shocked than angry in the moment and decided not to argue because it isn't about the money. It's about what's correct. She also says she gets tipped for extras. I laughed at that but tossed her a couple of bucks. I stopped talking and she kept asking if I heard her. I nodded, tosses her the money, ushered her out of the lap area and let the incident sink in. I could go to the DJ or manager and make my case or publicize her foul behavior. Since money was not the issue for me and I opted for the 2nd choice. A lot of girls in this place know me because I'm here a lot. Word will get out. This is in direct contrast to an incident I had with Renee a couple of months ago when she thought we'd done 4 dances and because I know her, I let it go. The next time I came in she apologized and offered me a refund or a dance to make up for her miscalculation. I took the dance. That was an honest mistake and she had the integrity to make it right. She also understands the value of repeat business. So if you ever decided to venture into Ron's Barbary Coast, steer clear of Lil' Mama. She lacks basic business acumen and her looks alone, are not enough to get her over with the others available who understand the game and are much more attractive. YaYa, whom I haven't seen in awhile has the body of a fitness model with a touch more azz. She's atheletic and a great stage performer which this club is not known for. Coco, another slim but not skinny, toned dancer, who's about 5'8" was also wonderful onstage. She smiled and seemed to really enjoy herself and was very pleasant when talking to people on the floor. I should have danced with her. She has an air of joy about her that's infectious.
