I've been in here once every so often since it's opened, and nothing much has changed since the late 90's. I know some people love this place, but I've always found it boring and expensive. I haven't been in a while, so I thought I'd give it another chance when I was in the area last week.
Service isn't distracting, the club itself is well thought out and maintained, and the DJ doesn't get in the way of the performers. The stages themselves are large compared to The Men's Club or Fantasy Girls, and most of the performers tend to be comparatively distant from the people seated at the stage as a result. Over the years, I've never really seen any women that I'd consider dogs or knock-outs, and my latest visit was no different.
On my last visit, I tipped a few indifferent dancers at the stage, retreated to the more comfortable lounge chairs closer to the bar, and had a plain dancer park herself next to me. We wound up talking for a while about The Reverend Horton Heat and other neo-swing performers over a drink- I was eventually propositioned for a dance, and never thought to ask how much it cost before saying yes. Either I got upsold on the price, or they really do charge twice what everyone else in town charges for the privilege of sitting in a public area on a restaurant booth couch. In any case, the dance was as ordinary as the contractor getting my money, so I didn't follow up with anything else- she was a decent conversationalist but a lousy dancer. I tipped a couple of other women onstage, no one else approached me after a half hour, and I left about $100 poorer and slightly more bored than when I entered.
