My first time ever going to Red Light Nights. I had been apprehensive about going anywhere in OKC other than Fantasy Island, primarily because it is my firm belief that once you go to FI, anything else in OKC will pale in comparison. So, it is with this in mind that I venture to RLN to see if my fears are with merit.

First of all, the layout of the club. No what I was expecting, and it took me a couple of minutes to get my bearings. It is one large open room with three stages and lots of seating. The bar is to the left as you enter, and the club open back and to the right. The LD area is along the back wall with "booth" type areas with chairs in them. Not a lot of privacy but some and it is separated from the main floor. There is a VIP behind the main stage, and there is a section along the front wall and to the right where there are a number of sofas. I'm not sure if that's for club members to sit or something as I never asked about it. But it would seem absurd for that section to be for just anybody. Anyway, good lighting, the sound was OK, overall not a bad set up.

The staff were friendly insofar as I interacted with them, which wasn't much. The DJ was pretty decent, and the music was a mix of rock, R&B and hip-hop, more of the latter than I like, but them's the times we live in.
