After reading the tons of previous reviews, I too decided to give Visions a try and was in many ways pleasantly surprised. Now, don't get me wrong - as a VIP at the Lodge in Dallas, I'm here to tell you that this is no upscale club - but that turned out to be less of a big deal than I would have thought.

Got there about 130pm, was greeted by a door man with a jovial "hey man" and paid my $4 door charge, which comes with a free beer. Within a few minutes I had a very pleasant blonde next to me and girls basically started rotating through, making conversation and making me very much feel welcome in the process. One of them pointed out that this was a local place and they didn't get many tourists ever.

Prices are reasonable for New Orleans, with 20 dollars for a regular lap (semi private) and 30 in private VIP. One of the girls explained that the 20 dollars goes all to the dancer and the 30 is split 25/5 with the club. The party room is totally negotiable - the club gets 100 for 30 minutes and the rest is up to the girl.

One thing I noticed is that they play full songs, at least when I was there.

The other thing that I thought would be a problem was not either: The girls do the "walk" and basically get a dollar per patron at the bar. That works out to maybe 10 or 15 dollars an hour and allowed me to let the girls that I was interested in know to come back.
