I'm home... Finally, I'm back in...

I'm home... Finally, I'm back in the DC area, after venturing off to WV, Baltimore, Philly, SNJ and NNJ.

A TuIesday afternoon (2pm); so, I decided to stop in at the Ebony Inn. Now, the Ebony Inn is located a couple hundred yards from the DC line (Eastern AVE), Maryland side, it's still safe enough for all to patronize. Speaking of which, after reading previous reviews about the sketchy area, IDK what most of these dudes are talking about? I mean, I was born and raised in DC; although, this area has had its share of crime and unlawful issues, its never been a major area of concern (compared to the other areas that are a few miles north, south, east and west of Fairmont Heights). As a matter of fact, this side of the DC area is more commonly known for good soul food restaurants, the ederly and a family-oriented community. Aside from the transvestite prositution, a few liquor stores with older alcoholics - bumming for cash and the occasional crackhead fights, etc alongside Eastern Ave and Sheriff Rd. My point, there isn't an abundance of concern or alot of threat of violence and crime surrounding the location of Ebony Inn. But, as always (in the DC area), be aware of your surroundings. And, mind your business... and it's all GOOD! You should enjoy the Ebony Inn.

At the Ebony Inn, there is limited parking. Why? Because, the strip club is located inside of a drive-thru liquor store with bar and grill. Decent fast food, available, made to order. You are welcome to park in the parking lot across the street, a church with plenty of parking, car safe enough.
