I don't know why I bother...

I don't know why I bother going to Knockouts in the afternoon. It is the most convenient to where I work so I am always tempted to give it one more chance, an occasionally I have a good time there if the dancer is right, but more often than not, it is a dud.

This afternoon was one of those duds. I came in around 3PM. 1 other customer. 3 dancers, but they all came out and danced 1 or 2 songs and then disappeared in the back somewhere and never came back until their stage was up again. Many times there was just no one on stage at all! None were bad looking, but none were great either. They asked me for a dance, but they seemed disinterested so I didn't take. I had a couple of beers and hoped it would pick up, but it didn't. By about 4 I was getting bored, so I went ahead and got a dance from the best looking of the available dancers. It was mechanical and got boring after half a song, so I paid her and left.

Perhaps Knockouts gets better in the evening, but if the service is going to be so poor during the afternoon then they should just open later. TD's is also slow during the day, but they rarely sit with an empty stage!
