I was just passing through town...

I was just passing through town Sunday night with a 5 hour layover in Madison and decided to take a cab to Visions, and check out their amatuer night. Not having been to the club before previously and having only the reviews here to depend on, I wasn't expecting very much.

I was pleasantly surprised. For one, going to Visions beat the hell out of waiting at the Greyhound station until 1am. There was a $7 cover when I arrived but a drink special that went on until 10pm.... then they extended it until 11.... $2 draft beers. I did very well that way, buying 4 beers through the course of the evening. The doorman and bartender were extremely friendly, allowing me to stow the bags I brought with me and arrangeing for a taxi at 12:15...... the music was very engergetic. While the lighting was dark, the proximity of most of the seating to the main stage made up for it. Overall the house dancers were extremely sexy. I give special high marks to the waitress/dancer Erica, who had awesome legs and firm D cups I could die for. Overall the house dancers there that night were 8's or better. The amatuer contest was..... well, two girls on stage at a time, some were more attractive than others, some more and some less energetic. It was over in a half an hour, but fun was had by all. There were actually couples at the club, and it was a semi-rowdy, fun crowd.

There is no contact at this club, true, and I generally like contact clubs. I did NOT partake in any private dances as a result. That said, while I was throwing out my fair share of dollars towards the ladies I fealt the entertainment value was high. Some outstanding pole work and stage work was shown by the ladies, and I was arroused and entertained without having to dip deeply into my pocket because it was about.... EYECANDY and a little booze. If you accept the clubs limitations, you can have a good time here- especially on a Sunday night. Given another bus layover enroute to the Twin Cities I will definately check out this club again.
