As an afternoon customer, I seldom see the club at night. This club (formerly Red Garter, a bit more raffish before it was taken over by the Evil Empire) gets a lot of evening business, due to its proximity to downtown hotels. This is a bit more informal than its VCG competitor Diamond Cabaret a couple of blocks away. The door girl when I was there was the best sight to see. The dancing girls and the waitresses are all lovely and polite. I have been downtown and pick this place, as I know I am going to be well treated. Never saw anyone hassled, and the club was particularly friendly to lady guests I would bring. It is the nearest club to the Convention center and the streetcar (I know, Light Rail) stops right at the door. Something that you wouldn't find between here and Minneapolis. Maybe not as classy as the Diamond, but a lot friendlier. The two girl shows are particularly beautiful and fun to watch.
