I went to the Downer on...

I went to the Downer on a Friday evening with my wife. We got to the club around 11:00PM. The parking lot was a mess. There was a limo bus blocking the entrance and cars were backing up a bit on the road. Once you were able to get in the parking lot, it was not too bad to park.

There was a bit of a line trying to get in the club as there were quite a few younger looking guys going in. Between checking ID's, them trying to put together the cash for the cover, and scanning in their ID's, it did take a little bit to get in the club.

Once in the door we walked to the bar and bought a couple of over priced beers. Of course, all strip clubs have over priced beers so that should not be a surprise. The club was pretty packed as there were a few bigger groups. We were able to get a small table a row back from the stage. One of the big groups was spread out on both sides of the stage at the stage side tables. The guys spent alot of time walking back and forth and standing in front of the stage blocking views. The thing that amazed us were all of the guys that looked like they had never seen a naked woman before and were acting like asses.

There were alot of girls in the club, and they were pretty nice for the most part. There was the one 'granny' of the group walking around and the one drunk dancer that would walk up and only say 'let's go for a dance.' I know they are there to make money, but seriously, can we at least get a hello. She was one of the few dancers that actually came up to us. Again, most dancers will avoid a couple as they think that the woman will get jealous and is only there to keep the man 'in line.' We enjoyed the show before getting a private dance together from a dancer that was not afraid of couples.
