After my fun at Spearmint Rhino...

After my fun at Spearmint Rhino the night before I wanted to try out 1 more strip club in Vegas. I had wanted to try Sapphires the night before, but I didn't get around to it. So it's Friday afternoon around 1pm, and I got a few hours before my plane leaves. Sapphires is right down the street from my hotel, so me and a buddy decide to go to Sapphire.

We walk in, and the bouncer gives us the pat down and the metal detector thing. Surprisingly we did not have to pay cover. We walk towards the bar, and we see.... no dancers, no customers in the building. Yikes! I spotted a redhead dancer at the bar, and she explains that the other two dancers that are here are in VIP with this high roller. For the next 30 or so minutes the dancer chit chats with us. She explains on Friday and Saturday nights it is usually like a 40 buck cover. Sapphires is very big, but she explains it still gets crowded on a Friday and Saturday night. It was funny listening to her tell us that a lot of the Spearmint Rhino girls were hookers, and that Sapphires is the number 1 club in Vegas. She apparently has something against Spearmint, maybe she wasn't hot enough to get hired at Rhino? Anyways she says there's 600 to 700 Sapphire dancers on the weekend. Drinks were three bucks for a Coors Light at this time. I'm sure it's much more expensive in the night time. Finally after awhile the two dancers that were in VIP with the high roller come down to the bar. They were both 7's at best, and the redhead was a 7. I didn't get any dances while I was there. Towards the end of my visit 2 more customers came in.

I walked around Sapphires a little bit, and it is definitely a great looking club with a lot of space. The VIP area looks pretty nice. When we walked out of the club to go back to the hotel, I noticed a hot dancer walk into the club. Damn it! I debated going back in there, but my flight was leaving soon, so I had to leave. It was disappointing how slow it was on a early afternoon visit. When I come back to Vegas I will definitely come back here on a Friday or Saturday night.
