What's Right: $7 cover, $5 beer, $2.50 soda, friendly staff. Nice remodel from old club.

What's Wrong: Stage is too high, not enough dancers on the floor, not enough seating away from the stage, Dancers not getting naked on stage.

Stopped in on a Saturday night to check out the long-awaited opening of the Mardi Gras Oxford. Along with all mentioned above I found the dancers to be a bit on the self-absorbed side and, honestly, not all that attractive as a group. One or two hotties but mostly flabby tired looking girls. This will need to change if this club is going to compete with Mario's in Webster and the clubs in Worcester. Also, what's up with the no nudity on stage? This is Mass folks and dancers go full nude on stage. What's really sad is that I walked into this club with the intention of checking out everything including the private dance area but not one dancer appealed to me enough to venture back there. To be honest, in 90 minutes only one even approached me. It's obvious that the dancers are doing whatever they want here and that's bad. They are too slow to come out of the dressing room and get on stage and also don't appear interested in working the room. Too bad,a little exercise would be a good idea for most of these girls. Management needs to take control here and keep things moving in the right direction. The high stage makes customer interaction during stage sets difficult.
