On a recent trip to check out the strip club scene in the Lake Geneva area of Wisconsin, I visited the three strip clubs of Walworth County: the Sugar Shack in Lake Geneva and Vegas Gentlemen's Club and the Show Palace, both near Darien. This is my review of Vegas Gentlemen's Club; see also my reviews of Sugar Shack and Show Palace.

Vegas is located at the southwest corner of US 14 and Wisconsin 11 about 4 miles north of the Darien exit from I-43. I visited on a Monday afternoon about 3:00 and stayed for an hour and a half. Cover was $5 and a domestic beer cost $4.50, but the second beer was free (!). As other reviewers have mentioned, the single stage is rather oddly situated so that if you're sitting at the bar, the dancers are behind you. There are seats right around the stage for tipping, but most customers sit at the bar. Dancers do two stage dances, the second one topless.

Six dancers were working while I was there: 5 white and 1 black. Lap dances take place on sofas in a back room that has its own jukebox with noticeably shortened songs. They cost $20 for one or $50 for three (at least on Monday afternoon). I got one dance from a girl who attached herself to me at the bar as soon as I arrived and later got three from the most attractive dancer there. Touching was minimal and the dances were nothing special. As you will see from my review of Sugar Shack, stage dances there were nude, private dances were high-touch, and even the beer was cheaper. Among the three strip clubs in Walworth County, I would only recommend Sugar Shack. Vegas and Show Palace are quite expendable, at least in the afternoon.
