I stopped at Jill when I was passing by on 70. I like to take advantage when a club is open for a day shift or earlier in the evening. On the other hand, I almost always end up wondering why a club bothers being open ‘early’ if no one comes at that time. Such was the case with my visit, so bear that in mind.

Location: When you get off of Interstate 70 at exit 11, the exit ramp will put you on to Dallas Pike. To get to the club, proceed as if you were trying to go to the TA travel center. In doing so you actually turn off of Dallas Pike and onto Alexander Rd (aka Old Hyw 43). Drive past the TA travel center to get to the club. The club is actually about a ½ mile back from the Dallas Pike / Alexander Rd. intersection.

The Club: Hard to tell it’s even a SC from the outside. Old beat down convert factory or warehouse looking place. As other have mentioned, there’s only a few parking spaces on the main street level with a large dirt behind the club at the bottom of a substantial hill. When you enter the club, you first step into a lobby area, doorman check your ID, pay cover, and then he ‘buzzes’ you in to the club area. Actually club section is decent. Not high end but not in any way bad IMO. Solidly blue collar vibe. A runway type stage that seemed well lit IMO. Various tables and booths around if you don’t want to shit at the stage. Seemed like a full bar tucked off to the one side.
