Showcase is open Sundays but closed...

Showcase is open Sundays but closed Mondays, Visions next door and owned by the same people apparently is closed Sundays but open Mondays. My one and only visit to Visions was not good, but other reviewers say both clubs are hit and miss, so maybe I'll try it again later. Showcase is laid out better, a square rather than a long rectangle, but it still looks like a bar rather than a strip club. Most of the time I was there, all the customers and dancers were at the bar, talking to each other and not watching the stage in the back, which is fairly big and U-shaped, with four poles. Strip club style how seats with tables in the middle of the room, generally not very close to the stage, were empty, and people only were any where near the stage when they walked over to tip a particular dancer.

When I arrived the board by the entrance listed 11 dancers, and that was probably the right number, but the place looked empty because its just one big room. About half the dancers were in the dressing room at any one time, and most of the rest were generally hanging by the bar, not circulating. One enterprising dancer latched onto me when I arrived and sat with me at the bar for a while. Eventually I had to ask her for a dance. She did mention that she wasn't earning but still seemed happy to chat with me and not push dances. What's up with these girls? Don't they realize the need to always be working the room and asking for dances? I finally got some attention by sitting in a chair in the middle of the room and tipping at the stage. Even tipping from the bar didn't draw anyone's attention.

I got dances from three ladies. The one who first sat with me gave a pure air dance, alright but not worth a drive down from the town of the 3-foot rule. Two other dancers, both 7s, gave a good grind with their dance and allowed polite touching, none near their privates. Dancers were about half white and half black. One black dancer was the only 8 in the room, but unfortunately another black dancer had just sat down with me when she came around, so she just said thanks for the tip and walked by. I would have liked to get a dance from her, but I had a good time anyway and managed to spend the money I still had in my pocket from a much less successful first stop at Wild Cherry, so I won't complain. Other black dancers I'd rate 5-6.
