I recently was visiting town and decided to work one night at Sammy's to get the feel of Destins strip clubs. Walking in, I immediately liked the layout of the multiple stages spaced throughout the club. No matter where you are in the club, a dancer is visible and accessible on stage. The bar is a bit small for my liking, but servers routinely check on you around the club to offer drinks. The dancers surprised me. Normally being new at a club means you are completely ignored as an entity and the subject of general bitchiness. Not here though, the girls and the management were very welcoming and helpful and the girls were absolutely beautiful and talented. The dancers set their own prices for dances and champagne rooms, which I enjoyed. It definitely threw me off that the dances are not in private rooms, essentially table dances. More so, the actual dances threw me for a loop. I was told to practically give the men a hover dance, no actual contact with the men. I'm not saying I love grinding all over men, but no contact at all? Who is going to buy a second hover dance? Men get more action on stage by putting money in our thongs. At least when I was able to talk a man into going upstairs to a champagne room I was able to give real lap dances, obvious restrictions included. I really enjoyed my night there and wish I could have stayed to work the next night too. I loved working at a club where I wasnt competing against girls offering blowjobs and having sex upstairs. When I am In the area again, I will definitely be returning to Sammy's
