Its been a while since I have made it to the world famous Coco's Lounge. A Miami legend (just behind the Lexx) for strip clubs - there was a time in its hey day when it was jamming on weekends but it is taking a hit from the Lexx these days. On this Friday night I arrived just after midnight. There were at least 25 girls working - most average looking in the 6 to 7 range. One thing I must say - most had big buts - enhanced or not - it was the overriding theme. I tried Coco's about six weeks ago and I was a little disappointed. I didn't write a review but I remember thinking that the club was really heading in a negative direction. The help seemed disinterested and the girls not friendly or ambitious. On this night I was headed to the Lexx but when I got to the Lexx the parking lots were so full I decided to opt for a more laid back crowd at Coco's and give it another shot. From the moment I parked my car until the moment I made it to my chair I sensed a real difference in the club. Security in the parking lot friendly and no parking fee - door person friendly and the bartender could not have been more pleasant. I was approached by one girl and chatted with her for a while but decided she was not my type. Tipped the girls on stage - they were giving some great dances. I then was approached by a knockout girl - spent an hour with her dancing at the bar - $5 a dance but I paid her ten dollars a dance and she earned every penny of it gracefully. I was told by the dancers there was new management and it was clear there was a real turn around happening in the club. Management presence every where in the club - really nice to see in a Miami strip club. I would not be surprised if this club makes a gradual turn around back to its glory days. I recommend you give it a try - as we all know strip clubbing can always be hit and miss - it was great for me on this evening.
