This is a composite review of two visits two Secrets - one on Sunday after midnight (8/25/13) and the other on Tuesday (8/27/13) around 8:00 p.m.

My previous “visit” to Secrets had been on a Thursday night about 3 weeks ago. After the closing of the nearby Angels about a year ago, Secrets is more flush w/ dancers and customers. So the Secrets parking lot gets pretty full and one has to park on the grassy non-paved area. I had not been to Secrets for a couple of months prior to my previous Th night visit. On the Th night visit 3 weeks ago; I left the club w/o going in b/c I was been charged $3 for parking my own car which had never been done before. When I asked the parking dude how much the cover was he said it was $15. I didn’t feel like paying $18 (plus a drink) on a weeknight just to get into a hole in the wall club.

When I went this past Su. night; I was not charged for parking; but when I went on Tu night; I was. I was confused and asked the parking attendant what the deal was. He said the grassy area is not part of the club and is a separate lot and the owner of that lot hires him to charge for parking. The parking guy said if you park next to the club on Secret’s paved parking; you do not have to pay. Being that the parking attendant does not work for the club (according to him); maybe when the parking attendant told me on my last visit to Secrets 3 weeks ago that the cover was $15 (plus $3 for parking); he may have been wrong (I actually did not make it to the door to ask on that visit and just left).
