A few friends and I decided...

A few friends and I decided to drop by Tootsie's, which is the first strip club we've attended in South Florida. As a frame of reference, we frequent the clubs in Tampa (Mons/2001). First off, the building is ginormous with a huge parking lot. When we arrived at the club at about 11 PM, the parking lot was about 2/3 full but finding an open space wasn't a problem.

When we got to the door, there was a $12 cover to enter. There's also apparently no cover charge before 8 PM everyday from what I understand. When you first enter the room, there is a large bar to the left. The main stage has 2 30-foot poles where the girls can perform. As you walk further into the room, there is a smaller satellite bar/stage as well. There is also a 2nd floor, which you have to pay an extra $20 to go up. My friends and I opted to not go up as we really didn't see the benefit besides a better view of the floor below. Finally in the back of the building is a large sports bar with pool tables and 4 large screens. We managed to get there halfway through a UFC card so we decided to kick back and watch it.

Once the PPV was over, we walked back out and sat at the satellite bar since the main area was pretty packed at this point. We had a great bartender who was very knowledgeable and able to make any drink my buddies wanted with what they had available. He also poured pretty heavy drinks so that was a plus. According to one of my buddies, they did not have bitters to make an old-fashioned. I honestly don't remember how much the drinks ran us since all we saw was a $300 bar tab for the 5 of us by the end of the night. I figured it was about $5-10 a drink depending on whether it was a beer, shot, or mixed drink. I also got hungry and ordered mac&cheese and some potato skins. The food was nothing special and tasted like what you would find at any typical chain restaurant.
