I keep telling myself that I don't like NJ clubs. I get really frustrated when they are dancing in bikinis that I can see at the beach. But, being as I haven't been on the road lately, I stopped by Ooh-La-La's after work one day last week.
It's your typical NJ go-go bar with the stage in the middle of the bar and 4-5 dancers on shift. The clientele is a mix of older retired types and workers coming home from work. There are a lot of regulars here and a lot of folks seem to know each other. It definitely has the feel of a local corner bar. The prices for beer are ok ($4-$5?), but it can get a little expensive with the dollar parade during each set. It seems that there's a room in the back for dances, but I really wasn't interested as I was on my way home.
Overall, it's an ok place to stop for a couple of beers after work, but I wish NJ would change it's rules about dancers and how they dress.
