I was passing through DC and...

I was passing through DC and thought I'd give it a try. I am a white guy and this is a 100% black club. There wasn't another white person around anywhere, man or woman. I don't say this to be racist, just to inform. Many might be extremely uncomfortable, especially walking in alone as I did. I get along well with all nationalities and didn't feel unsafe personally but I can't say I was approached by anyone wanting to befriend me either.

The club was very upscale inside but the ambiance was very different that what I'm used to. The girls dance on high stages and the guys stand around them, almost like a concert venue. It was a large party atmosphere and the "rain making" was happening everywhere. I stood a little off to the side and was approached by a petite girl. I'm not typically that attracted to black girls (I know, so why am I even here?) but she was cute and seemed nice. I agreed to a dance. Well...DC doesn't allow lap dances, so this was a fully public table dance. I could've gotten closer to her if she was on the stage. After about 4 minutes of this, she asked if I wanted her to continue and I declined. She then charged for 3 songs. Well, the background noise of Rap had absolutely nothing separating "songs" and there was NO way it was 3 different ones, but I wasn't going to make a scene. I paid her for her useless demonstration and made my way out the door.

Would I return? Not unless I was going with a group that allowed me to fit in better, and then just to chill and enjoy the extremely unique experience.
