I am seldom in the St. Louis area and thus have only once before sampled the strip club mecca of East St. Louis - Sauget - Brooklyn - Washington Park. This was a weekday afternoon visit to Hollywood Show Club a few years ago, which was enjoyable but rather expensive. Since I was passing through on the way back home from a road trip to Columbia/MO (see my future reviews of its Club Vogue and Rumors Cabaret), I decided to give HSC another try.

I arrived just after opening time on a Wednesday about 12:15 and was immediately struck by the gaudy and spacious interior; the porn videos playing on numerous TVs; and the high quality and quantity of dancers, two of whom were already on stage while another ten or so were sitting around waiting for their turn.

A domestic beer costs $7 and no cover is charged during the day. I tipped several dancers at the stage, including Eli, Summer, McKenzie, Ginger, and Brooke, all of whom allowed an amazing amount of fondling for $2-3 in tips. It was certainly the most touching I've ever experienced at the stage. Then I took one young lovely back for a couple of energetic yet sensual bed dances ($25 each) and exited the club with a smile on my face. I didn't inquire about VIP, but I suspect it's quite pricy. I would classify this club as expensive but recommended. It probably has the best balance of quality and price of all the ESL clubs.
