I drove past Divas XO once...

I drove past Divas XO once before and just noticed it (I suppose my monger radar was working) and wanted to check it out whenever I had the opportunity.

Well, that opportunity presented itself tonight, so I figured what the heck. I was surprised by how nice it was. The parking lot was well lit and spacious (probably 25+ cars in the lot, with room for at least that many more), and inside, the club seems to have been recently renovated. Carpet on the floor (which was kind of surprising) and it just looked like it was well maintained. Smoking is allowed, so expect to smell like that even after a few minutes, even if you're a nonsmoker, but it's not as bad as some places I've visited.

I forked over the $6 cover to the bouncer and headed to the bar. This being a work night, I got a Coke from the bartender, which set me back a pretty steep $4.75. Before the Coke even arrived, I was greeted by a young, attractive dancer who parked on the stool next to me and chatted me up for the next half hour. She had a great personality (Amber? Ashley? Something like that - I suck at names, particularly stripper names). She has only been a stripper for 5 weeks, so she says, and it was a pleasant conversation. We specifically discussed whether there are any extras at Divas XO - she said there never is, and I believe it - at least the topless couch dance room is very much in the open (behind an open curtain).
