I danced at Scandals recently on a tuesday night. This is a club with thick chicks only!!! almost all latin girls, a few african-american, a couple of caucasian. if you like big booty and some meat on the bones, this is a good club to visit. there was a fair amount of silicone (boobs AND booty) on display. you better be into reggaeton music, because that is all they played all night long (with a little hip-hop and house mixed in). the club is spacious, a little run-down but not gross. they serve food. this is the darkest strip club i have been in! it is difficult to see the girls on the stage because there are no lights on them and there is constant smoke blowing out of a smoke machine on the stage. this smoke machine is rather annoying and a customer complained to me that it was making him sneeze! the stage is surrounded by the bar (as is normal in queens clubs) and the girls do a tip-walk behind the bar after their set. there are plenty of tables to sit at if you want to avoid tipping.

this club has an overall skeezy vibe. extras seem to be available. the lapdances take place in booths which are hidden from the rest of the club (though you are visible to the other guys getting lapdances in the section), and are monitored by a vip guy who seems to not care what goes on there. there are no dances out on the floor. i doubt there will be any sucking or f*cking going on in these booths but i did definitely see some unzipped pants! i heard they also have a champagne room, but didn't see it. the lapdances cost $40 for the first dance and the $20 for each consecutive dance. so basically you are paying $20 to get into the vip area. so it makes sense to get a lot of dances with one girl, because with every new girl you will pay $40 for the first dance. overall, this is a "party" kind of club where you could have a good time without spending too much. located right underneath the queensboro bridge (queensboro plaza subway stop).
