Temptations is about as neighborhood-y as a bikini bar/strip club could be. It is a one-room bar with saome private rooms in the back. The dancers are on a stage behind the bar and make the rounds after dancing for tips. This means that you are really forced to give it up unless you are really unafraid of seeming rude/cheap. The dancers are so-so, with a couple cuties mixed in with some real fireplugs. The bartenders are extremely friendly and if you tip more than $1 on your first tip they treat you like a king. It's pretty rad.

The place is run by a bunch of big knockaround guys who are usually hovering in the corner. They are somewhat threatening but that makes for atmosphere of safety despite the crappy neighborhood and dodgy clients. The first time i went i felt a bit uneasy but i settled in rather quickly.

One thing that is really funny: The dancers act more non-chalantly than i have ever seen. Late at night they simply stand on stage, yawn, and count their money. It is pretty funny as long as you aren't looking for high-octane entertainment.
