I was sitting around on a Sunday afternoon in Dallas at the beginning of a business trip, and I thought I might give Baby Dolls a try, even though Sunday afternoons are usually the slowest time for any club.

I got there about 1:00 pm and it was pretty quiet, maybe 20 customers and about a dozen dancers. Entry fee was a mere $1. Beers were $5.50. I ordered lunch, but they actually bring their food over from Cabaret Royale so there was about a 15 minute wait for delivery.

The girls were not nearly as plentiful or attractive as the night crew, but most were above average. It was mostly all white girls, with one black girl, an Asian, and a couple of Latinas. They made each dancer do 3 dances on the main stage, then another 3 on a second side stage. The girls were very laid back, and not pushy at all. They were willing to sit around and talk for quite a while. It's a much different atmosphere than at night where the girls are all hustling trying to get as many dances as possible.
