Oh, Midnight Express, you are capable of so much more. Okay - $5 cover, soft drink was either $3 or $5. One other customer in the place at around 9:00pm on a Wednesday night. Now, I totally get the diminished motivation to perform when there are only two guys there, but come on - try to rise above it! I stayed for about 20 minutes. There was one petite dancer on stage practicing her pole work. Later she was joined by two more, all just practicing, not performing at all. I was joined momentarily by an overweight dancer who I was not really all that interested in. There were about 3 more dancers back at the bar just talking about whatever.

So like I said, at about 20 minutes of receiving no real attention, I just left - with a couple hundred dollars still in my wallet.

It could have been different. I'll take some responsibility here and acknowledge that I could have gone up to the rail and cheered little petite dancer on, or could have gone to the bar and at least checked out who was back there. But from my point of view, if I wanted to work at trying to get some female attention, I would have just gone to a bar somewhere! I came here so that I could just pick from among the nice ladies making themselves available to me. I'm an introvert, so sue me!
