Had not been back to Playhouse...

Had not been back to Playhouse in a year or so and had heard that things had "changed" a bit from the good old days. Was on the way to North Jersey and took a quick detour from I 95 and was pleased to see much of the old Playhouse back in good form. This still is one of my favorite clubs and is a great 1 hour detour on the way north.

It was early on Sunday evening - Note: they don't open till 6Pm on Sundays - Used to be that they opened at noon, I think. I got there a bit early and had to wait nearby for the place to get going.

It was a little slow at first as they got things going. Same deal as always - sit at the bar and watch the dancers from the bar. Still lots of Brazilian dancers - most are 7-8's. Was approached by a couple of girls right off the bat - but none had caught my attention. Then out of nowhere comes the Playhouse queen - Ruby. She kind of recognized me from previous visits and before long we were in one of the private rooms. Ruby is a bit mechanical - but has all of the right moves and knows exactly where the cameras are. Nothing too crazy here - but, after just three songs, I kissed her on the cheek and was out the door.
