My first time at Tootsies. Arrived about 4:30. The stage set up, although described by others, was different. The dancers do a "routine" on the raised stage for a song, then they come off the stage and work the rail for tips. The dancers do work the rail very well. If you are interested to see if they are fake or real for a small price, the rail is the place to be. I sat at one of the tables to sit back and watch what was all happening. Immediately I was approached by a dancer who did sit down and we chatted for a while. She explained to me what was all available. She was not my type so I stated that I just wanted to watch for a bit. She left and immediately another dancer sat down and proclaimed it was her birthday. It may have been, but I have been to enough clubs where they use that line as a request to have a dance with them and then tip them a lot because it's their birthday. I passed on her too. Then a spinner type approached. She was a little reserve at first but she opened up. We then went for a set of dances. The "reserve" was her act. She was not shy at all. We enjoyed ourselves for 4 songs ($100). She then let me know her menu. We headed to Champaign. I paid the attendant $75 including her tip. Then for $200 my friend was fully prepared to rock my world. And she did. The little room we had a couch and end table in it. A curtain gave us our privacy. As it was the afternoon, no one else was back there. Afterward I sat out at a table by the stage. They passed out tickets. If they called your number, you got to spin the wheel. On the wheel there is a variety of gifts including cash. Not sure if it was in the form of club money or not but the guy who spun won a $100 food voucher. My spinner had gone to eat in the back so I decided to depart. But I definitely will return. The place will put a smile on your face.
