Wow! I was pleasantly surprised...

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by the "talent" during my most recent visit to Babes. I was shocked to see nearly a dozen girls around 6pm on a weeknight. Since my last visit, the place has been dressed up considerably with updated lighting, and a converted pool room over to the "Boom Boom Room" (not kidding!) Pricing was moderate: before 7pm, cover was $5 with $2.25 domestic beer. After 7pm, cover goes to $7 and beer is $3.75. Private dances are $20-$30 depending on the dancer, with a 30 minute visit to the Boom Boom Room running around $250.

I chatted with a great girl named Cassie for the better part of a hour. I bought her a few drinks, but had to leave for a business dinner early, so I can't speak to her LD skills. Main stage had rotating dancers with about 20 seats surrounding. Topless dances on their second song of the set. I'll definitely have to try this with a little more time and cash as it seems some of the once stifling Jackson laws are relaxing just a little bit here. Look out LE, people might actually have some fun!!!
