Cowboys is Lexington's oldest strip club, and although it was remodeled a few years ago, its age is showing, but in a good way. It's like an old, comfortable shoe. Drink prices are low and table dances are still five dollars. The pool tables have been removed. It's relatively lively in the afternoon (unlike most of the other clubs in town). A few of the dancers are also a bit on the old side. A variety of seating is available. Couch dances are only twenty dollars. The main drawback is that the couch room is watched by the DJ, who has a habit of screaming at the customers for breaking the rules. I've never had a VIP there, but from other customer comments I know that the VIP room is monitored by cameras. In general, the atmosphere is relaxed and low pressure. The place is o.k. for customers who are not looking for a glitzy, trendy club.
